Network Architect - Major Telecommunications Company | Perth, WA
Contract or Permanent | Flexible Working Options

Join a leading telecommunications provider in WA as a Network Architect, where you'll play a key role in designing and delivering complex end-to-end network solutions for critical infrastructure clients across sectors such as mining, rail, and energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to architecture design, technical scopes of work, and solution documentation.
• Support projects from proposal stage through to customer delivery and acceptance.
• Develop end-to-end network architectures that meet customer requirements, timeframes, and quality standards.
• Translate contractual system requirements into detailed technical designs.

About You:

• 8-10 years' experience in telecoms, specialising in IP and Packet Core networks (or a Master's in Engineering).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, SDN/NFV, and mobile/core networks.
• Experience designing and delivering networking solutions for mission-critical clients.
• Skilled in scripting, programming, and working with Linux/Unix environments.
• Hands-on expertise in building and troubleshooting carrier-grade solutions.

Desirable Tech Experience:

• Nokia IP Routers (7x50 SR/IXR, 7705 SAR, 7210 SAS)
• Network virtualisation platforms (VMware, OpenStack, KVM, etc.)
• Programming in Python, Perl, Java
• Certifications: Nokia SRA/SRC, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE
