We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join Midas Mediterranean which is based in Bowen Hills.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Independently operate and monitor the delivery truck, ensuring it is running safely and efficiently.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.

Accurately pick, dispatch, and deliver all products to our customers on time and in full. (Hand load and hand unload).

Perform stock rotation at Restaurants and the Factory to ensure food safety and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles are strictly followed.

Conduct regular quality checks on finished products and packaging to maintain consistency and compliance.

Collaborate closely with the production and dispatch teams to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

Report equipment malfunctions, product defects, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Perform general vehicle and equipment maintenance (e.g., pumping tires, checking fluid levels, keeping the delivery vehicle clean).

Ensure all delivery documentation (invoices, manifests, temperature logs) is completed accurately and submitted on time.

Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and temperature control standards during transport.

Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and customers during deliveries.

Assist with general warehouse duties when required, including loading and unloading deliveries.

Requirements of the Role:

Prior experience in delivery driving is essential (minimum 1 year preferred).

Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Prior experience in food handling, warehousing or factory operations is highly advantageous.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 20kg boxes on a daily basis).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Thorough knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices.

Exceptional attendance and punctuality are non-negotiable.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts and occasional weekends, if required.

Food Safety Certificate- (Can be obtained free of cost during on-boarding)

Full/open car licence- (The Vehicle only requires a standard Open Car Drivers License)

Must have a clean driving record (Traffic History may be checked prior to commencement)
