We design, manufacture, sell and hire purpose-built specialist trucks for both the private and public sectors (including stemming trucks utilised in mine blasting and road maintenance trucks). We have an opportunity for an experienced Store-person to join our growing team in our specialist truck manufacturing facility in Acacia Ridge.

Ideally, you will have a background in stores in a manufacturing environment and understand the work required with the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse. The goods are typically new truck parts and components, issued internally to our workshop for builds or externally to our clients as parts.

On a daily basis you will safely handle goods on arrival and on dispatch. You will work closely with manufacturing staff to ensure parts and components are available in timely fashion for equipment production.

You'll have some experience with quality control to ensure the right products and in the correct quantity are timely ordered, received, stored, issued and dispatched. You will also be able to accurately record stock, applying your capabilities with manufacturing database systems and data entry.

As a skilled Store-person, your forklift licence will come in handy to assist in loading and unloading containers and deliveries, including moving goods around the warehouse.

As such, you'll have the:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and safe manual handling skills in a warehouse setting.

Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center or in a similar environment is preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and order processing

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Basic computer skills for data entry and using warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
