The Tilbury Hotel is an Historic gastro pub in the heart of Woolloomooloo close to the suburbs' iconic wharf. We have undergone an extensive makeover in recent years with great open spaces and a beautiful courtyard. We are heavily food focused, catering to a corporate & young professional market during the week with group bookings and celebratory occasions over the weekends.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager with a passion for great food, wine and people whilst delivering an amazing customer experience. The essence of “Hospitality”.

The right candidate is out-going, charismatic with plenty of personality and great communication skills, passionate about customer service working as part of a dynamic professional hospitality team!

Responsibilities

• Create a positive guest experience and deliver a high level of service
• Creating “WOW” moments in service
• Ensure efficient restaurant operation
• Manage bookings and balance seat capacity
• Daily cash handling and reconciliation
• Staff management and training
• Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales

What you need

• 2+ yrs experience in the restaurant industry
• Ability to lead an award winning dining room
• Excellent communication skills and team leading skills
• Amazing customer service
• Strong food and wine knowledge
• Strong focus on food and service standards
