About the Role

As a Residential Youth Support Worker, you’ll provide hands-on support to young people living in our therapeutic care homes. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that’s focused on building safe, stable, and healing environments — where kids feel seen, heard, and valued.

This is more than just a job it's a chance to build relationships, advocate fiercely, and be a consistent presence in the lives of young people who need it most and most importantly make a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting young people with daily routines, life skills, education, and recreation

Applying trauma-informed care and positive behaviour support strategies

Collaborating with child protection services, allied health teams, and families

Advocating for young people's voices, rights, and futures

Contributing to support planning and accurate documentation

Attending regular team meetings, training, and reflective practice sessions

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field

Previous experience in residential or disability care (NDIS experience is a plus)

Strong relationship-building skills and emotional resilience

Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and the child protection system

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A current driver's licence and valid Blue Card
