About Our Client

Covalent Lithium operates a greenfields site at Mt Holland, approximately 90km from Southern Cross. As a newer mine, the operation is still in development, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team focused on safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be operating heavy equipment in a hard rock mining environment, supporting production and development activities. Key responsibilities include:

Operating Liebherr 9200 Excavator (primary)

Backup operation of CAT D10 Dozer

Optional operation of CAT 980 Loader (advantageous)

Working with paper load sheets and supporting a smaller production circuit

Maintaining high safety standards and flexibility across multiple machines

Collaborating with a small, experienced crew in a developing mine site

What You Will Need

Minimum 3 years’ experience in hard rock mining (Gold, Lithium, Nickel, Magnetite)

Experience on 9200, 2500, or 1900 diggers (production experience highly regarded)

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

National Police Clearance / Proof of DTO competency (desirable)

Ability to pass a Full PEM medical (valid 12 months) and Lab DAS (valid 3 months)

Willingness to complete Covalent and Thiess online inductions prior to mobilisation

Must be flexible and willing to operate across multiple machines as required
