About the role

Jnc Marine is seeking an experienced Boat Builder or a 1st-4th Year Apprentice to join our team in Somerville, Victoria. This full-time position is crucial in maintaining our high standards of boat building and ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.

What you'll be doing

Constructing and assembling boats and other marine vessels using various materials and techniques

Troubleshooting and repairing boats and components as required

Collaborating with the design team to understand and implement new boat designs

Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Mentoring and training less experienced team members

Ensuring all work adheres to industry regulations and safety standards

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Boat Builder or a commitment to completing a 1st-4th year apprenticeship

Strong practical skills in boat construction, repair and maintenance

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills
