RMB Service Group is your "One Stop Shop" for all your crane, emergency service vehicle, heavy machinery & truck servicing, sales, and repair requirements. RMB Service Group are seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Diesel Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the general servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs of various types of heavy vehicles, cranes, and machinery. Experience working within this field would be highly desirable and RMB will provide ongoing training for the wider range of specialised vehicle and plant that you may come across. Please note that this role has the potential to be full time, part time, or even casual depending on the candidate. Qualifications & experience

Hold a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent desirable

High attention to detail

Robust ability to work as part of a team, whilst also being self motivated

Strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively

Heavy Rigid Vehicle (or higher class) License desirable but not necessary

Experience essential, RMB are able to offer further training to become qualified for the right person.

Tasks & responsibilities

Diagnose and fault find mechanical issues

Effectively complete general service, preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment

Work within a strong team environment, assisting and supporting other team members
