About the role

Vic Leahy Removals is seeking an experienced Furniture Removalist/Driver to join our team in Oakleigh, Victoria. This is a casual role, offering flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle. As a Furniture Removalist/Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and relocation of our customers' belongings.

What you'll be doing

Carefully packing, loading, and unloading furniture and other household items

Driving removal trucks to transport customer belongings to their new location

Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth moving experience

Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company's vehicles

Assisting with the setup and arrangement of furniture at the destination

Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and coordinated moving operations

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a furniture removalist or driver, preferably in the transport and logistics industry

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safe handling of customers' belongings

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy loads

Familiarity with the local area and strong navigational skills
