• Remuneration: $42.50 - $54.62 phr + Casual loading + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
The Cooinda Mental Health inpatient unit is a state-of-the-art 33-bed acute unit for those aged 18 and over. With private, well-equipped rooms, patients have use of the dining room, laundry, lounge areas, visitors' lounge, outdoor areas, music room, art and craft room, therapy rooms and gymnasium. Our service provides assessment and evidence-based treatment for patients experiencing, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, addictions, complex needs due to a mental illness, as well as young adult and older persons mental health needs.

Your part in Buderim Private Hospital team
As part of our Cooinda Mental Health team, you will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.
What makes a difference for us?
Minimum of 2 years experience in an acute mental health
Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration
Mental Health qualifications highly desirable
Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements
