The Opportunity

Our 20-bed Early Parenting Centre offers a unique opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager to lead our specialised unit, providing care for infants aged 12 weeks to 24 months. This role involves supporting sleep and settling techniques in collaboration with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of Enrolled, Registered nurses and midwives, Family support workers assisting with the daily management of 5-night inpatient program for sleep and settling.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse / Midwife
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a leadership or management nursing role
• Recent paediatric / infant experience essential
• Post-graduate qualifications not required, but favourable
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentorship skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required

Remuneration:

On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $66.09 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.
