About the Role

In this role, the Junior Litigation Lawyer will assist across our four main practice areas: commercial litigation, property, construction, and insurance law.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

managing litigation files & developing core case management skills

analysing client documents and instructions to identify key issues

communicating with clients to gather information and clarify case details

drafting initial versions of legal documents (incl. letters of demand, pleadings & witness statements)

developing effective time management strategies to balance growing caseload responsibilities and client expectations

participating in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.

Whilst all your work will be overseen by senior lawyers, you will be an independent thinker & operator who can hit the road running.

What we're looking for

Full Australian working rights essential

Current Australian law degree with strong academic results essential

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously & not require much mentoring

Excellent analytical and organisational skills

Proven strong writing skills and an eye for detail

Min. 2 years PAE
