About Us

Rural Care Australia (RCA) is a community-owned, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering intergenerational services across the township of Merbein, Victoria. We operate Chaffey Aged Care, a 100-bed residential aged care facility, and Generations Early Learning, a 72-place long daycare service which is one of Australia’s first shared site Intergenerational Early Learning services.

About You

We’re looking for caring, reliable, and upbeat team players to make a real difference! Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

Got a qualification? Awesome! A Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Ageing Support, or Disability is perfect! Other recognised care qualifications work too.

No formal qualification? No problem! If you’ve got 2-3 years of hands-on experience in aged care, disability, or home care, we’d love to hear from you.

Aged care experience? Bonus points! But it’s not a dealbreaker—we’ll support you in learning the ropes.

Compassion is key! You genuinely care, respect others, and bring warmth to your work.

Tech-savvy? Great! You’ll be using software to enter notes and keep records up to date.

Reliable & ready to roll – You’re responsive, dependable, and always on top of things.

A team player & independent worker – You balance both like a pro!

The essentials – x3 COVID vaccinations, a National Police Check, a valid driver’s license, and Australian working rights.
