We’re looking for some more drivers to help operate the transport service at Ben Lomond Snow Field. The “Shuffle Bus” service is a fleet of 4WD Toyota Troop Carriers that transport visitors between the carpark below the snowline and Ben Lomond village, traversing the famous Jacobs Ladder Road.

The service operates every day of the ski season in all weather conditions and drivers will need to safely navigate the roads and provide an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Ben Lomond is one of the most spectacular and wild places in Tasmania, and is a truly one of a kind workplace.

To apply you will need:

A current PPV licence (heavy vehicle licence NOT required)

Current First Aid Certificate.

Drive a manual vehicle.

Be comfortable driving a 4WD in challenging conditions.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Be able to follow the directions of our transport supervisor and comply with relevant road rules and regulations.

Availability on weekends and during peak school holiday trade.

Staff accommodation at Ben Lomond Village provided on rostered days.

Pay rates in line with Alpine Resorts Award starting at $33.40/h
