Full-Time Educator (Baby Room)
12-Month Contract | 40 Hours per Week

Forbes Children’s Centre is seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team in the baby room space. This is a full-time, 12-month contract position working 40 hours per week.

About the Role
You will be part of a nurturing team that provides high-quality care and education for children aged birth to 2 years. You must be available to work shifts between 6:45am and 6:15pm across our operational hours.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics
We are looking for someone who is:

Highly motivated and passionate about early childhood education

A strong communicator, both written and verbal

Organised, with effective time management skills

Confident in sound judgment and decision-making

Collaborative and thrives in a team environment

Understanding of primary caregiving and attachment theory

Familiar with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Knowledgeable in Circle of Security and Marte Meo approaches (desirable)

Required Qualifications & Experience

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Current Working with Children Check

Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – (RRHAN-EC) training

Experience working in childcare, with specific experience in birth to 3½ age group highly regarded
