Are you a Senior Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step into leadership - without giving up the hands-on clinical work you love? This is a rare opportunity to lead a growing Sydney-based team while still delivering meaningful therapy to clients across the community.
Why This Role Stands Out
- $130K salary + bonus structure + $8,000 annual travel allowance
- Hybrid work model: Mix of WFH and in-person (ideally North Shore or Greater Sydney)
- Offices in St Leonards, Parramatta, and Liverpool available for flexible use
- Career progression: Opportunity to grow into a State Manager position
- Be part of a values-driven, multi-brand organisation that encourages internal mobility
Perks That Actually Matter
- $8K travel allowance + performance bonuses
- Up to 7 extra annual leave days per year
- 2 bonus leave days after 2 years of service
- Gym membership discounts, ergonomic home office support, counselling access
- Supportive team culture with access to in-house clinicians and health experts
Our client, a national allied health organisation is seeking a driven Occupational Therapist to guide a small but expanding team. With support from both the National Operations Manager and the CEO, this is a blended role ideal for someone who thrives on mentoring others, setting direction, and keeping one foot in the clinical world.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Team Management (3 days/week)
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of 4 OTs (expanding to 7–8 by year-end)
- Support performance goals and provide clinical oversight where needed
- Collaborate with the National Ops Manager and CEO
- Manage team issues, provide guidance, and help create a positive, outcomes-driven environment
- Contribute to strategic growth - this is a stepping stone to a potential future State Manager role
Clinical Work (2 days/week)
- Community-based NDIS therapy, with both in-person and remote options
- Support client outcomes across the lifespan (ages 13–65)
- Review, finalise and quality-check clinical reports across the team
- Maintain a small clinical caseload, with flexibility to reduce as the team scales
What You’ll Need to Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in the NDIS space
- 1+ year of team leadership or people management experience
- Strong mentorship, organisation, and communication skills
- Confidence in working with a diverse caseload across adolescence to adulthood
- Full AHPRA registration and the right to work in Australia
About the Organisation
Part of the Humanity Health Group, the organisation is known for high-impact community-based NDIS services. With around 50 OTs across the country and a collaborative, multi-brand ecosystem, the role offers growth, flexibility, and the opportunity to truly lead.
