SENIOR HAIRDRESSER / COLOUR TECHNICIAN

Fatty Arbuckles – East Perth WA

• Enjoy working with a strong and welcoming team of 4 Seniors, 2 Apprentices, a Salon Coordinator and Saturday Receptionist.
• Great rate of pay $35-$38 per hour (potential for negotiation after 3-month probation).
• Some free parking and street parking nearby. Walking distance from Claisebrook Station.
• Enjoy a break over the Easter long weekend and Christmas each year and social club events to get us through to our amazing end of year Christmas Party (think Coachella themed boat party).

• Salon closed on Sunday and Tuesday.

Role Overview

As a Senior Colour Technician at Fatty Arbuckles, you'll be at the forefront of our colour services, bringing your expertise and flair to every appointment. From mastering the latest colour trends to delivering personalized consultations, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. Responsibilities:

• Work your magic with colours – from global to dimensional, and everything in between.
• Understand the importance of a proper consultation – understanding what our clients want and making it happen.
• Collaborate with our team to make sure every client leaves with a smile and a seamless client experience.
• Support junior staff members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to provide innovative services.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and craftsmanship in all services provided.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years’ hairdressing and colour experience.
• Strong understanding of colour theory and application techniques.
• You’re a team player and have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Great customer service skills and ability to connect with clients.
• Passion for the industry and commitment to delivering outstanding results.
• Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Good communication skills.
