About the role

Join the team at Fraser Coast Aged Care as a Community Aged Care Worker, providing hands-on support to older people living in their own homes across the Fraser Coast. This is a casual role, offering flexibility to work around your schedule. This role may become a permanent position for the right person.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with personal care activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Providing support for daily living tasks including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and shopping

Offering transport and companionship to help clients stay connected and independent

Maintaining accurate records and documenting client progress

Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure high quality, person-centred care

Essential – MUST be available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Inactive and active overnight shifts also available.

What we're looking for

Experience providing direct care and support to older people in a community or home care setting

Certificate III in Aged Care (Individual Support, Disability or equivalent) preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

A respectful, patient, and compassionate nature

Flexibility and reliability, with a client-focused attitude

A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
