The Australian Institute of Architects, representing over 14,000 members across Australia, is seeking a dynamic Education Project Manager to lead our strategic educational initiatives and inspire architectural excellence.

The Opportunity

Join our Melbourne-based Education team and play a pivotal role in transforming how we deliver educational experiences to our members. You'll work collaboratively across the Institute to ensure our educational offerings meet the evolving needs of the profession while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accessibility.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

Support the development and implementation of education strategy aligned with our Institute's objectives

Drive innovation in educational program delivery and content development

Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key educational stakeholders

Content Development & Delivery

Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create compelling educational content

Oversee development of cutting-edge digital learning resources

Ensure compliance with accessibility standards across all educational materials

Achieve 85% member satisfaction rating for digital learning resources

Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, registration boards, and AACA

Engage regularly with members to understand their educational needs and preferences

Coordinate with Chapter staff to ensure consistent program delivery nationwide

Maintain 100% compliance with registration board requirements

Project Excellence

Manage education projects from conception to completion within agreed timelines and budgets

Deliver all assigned projects within 5% of planned budget and timeline

Develop comprehensive project plans with clear milestones and deliverables

Provide regular stakeholder updates and proactively identify and mitigate risks

What You'll Bring

Post-graduate qualification or equivalent experience in project management

5-10 years of experience in education content development and delivery

Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and agreed timelines

Experience with educational technology and digital learning platforms

Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills

Excellent communication and diplomatic skills across diverse audiences

Desirable

Tertiary qualification in education, architecture, or related field

Professional certification in education or learning design

Experience in Built Environment and membership organisations

Understanding of AACA requirements and registration board processes
