About the role

Logical Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Medium Rigid Drivers to join our clients growing team in Fyshwick, ACT. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a leading provider of white goods services.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate medium rigid vehicles to transport goods across the local region

Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required in conjunction with an offsider - all trucks are automatic transmission, have automatic tailgates and all supporting equipment will be provided to ensure safety.

Perform pre-start checks and minor vehicle maintenance

Provide exceptional customer service to customers

Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety procedures

Assist in installation of white goods products - training will be supplied.

What we're looking for

A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence

At least 1 year of experience operating medium rigid vehicles

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current VIC Roads Demerit Points and Convictions Report

Be physically fit as there is a lot of manual handling involved

Police Check (this will be paid for by Logical Staffing)

Excellent presentation and customer service skills as you will be entering residential homes and interacting with customers ~ Bonus points for doing it with a smile :)
