ABOUT THE ROLE

To be a successful applicant and join our team, you must be willing and able to treat our equipment with care and respect, think on your feet, show attention to detail, and positively follow instructions. Operating a fleet of quad, super, ultra and tetra configuration side tippers, you will hold a mechanical aptitude, transport bulk commodities as directed and supported by the operations team and complete necessary paperwork at a high standard.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Current and valid MC Driver’s Licence

Minimum 2 years’ experience operating multi-combination vehicles

Proven experience working with triple and quad road trains

Skilled in the safe operation of end tippers

Ability to inspect vehicles for safety and mechanical issues before and after trips

Competent in completing documentation, including pre-start checks, logbooks, and trip records

Thorough understanding of fatigue management, road safety, and heavy vehicle regulations

Applies fatigue management strategies in line with professional driver requirements

Able to supply a current police clearance and full traffic report

Maintains a positive attitude and contributes to a safe, respectful workplace culture

As part of the employment process, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening. Due to the high number of applicants, only those who are shortlisted will be contacted by our operations team!

The position is paid at a flat hourly rate which equates to a full-time equivalent base salary of approximately $87,635.60 per annum, plus additional earnings for hours worked beyond standard full-time hours. This flat hourly rate is inclusive of base ordinary time earnings, reasonable overtime, Industry-specific allowances, penalty rates where applicable.
