About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Electrician to carry out electrical safety checks and smoke detector testing at residential and commercial properties.

You will be provided with a scheduled list of appointments and will be responsible for conducting each safety check, recording the data using Tradify, and completing the relevant compliance certificates.

The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, and confident working independently, while providing a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct electrical safety checks in accordance with relevant regulations

Test and inspect smoke detectors

Complete and issue Certificates of Electrical Safety (COES)

Accurately enter data into Tradify software

Provide quotations and complete rectification works as needed

Liaise with clients in a professional and courteous manner

Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance

Skills & Qualifications

Current A-Grade Electrical Licence

Valid driver’s licence

Must be able to issue your own COES (technical supervisor)

Experience performing safety checks and issuing compliance certificates

Strong communication and time management skills

Ability to identify and solve problems independently

Professional presentation and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
