We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Labourer / Yard Hand you will be responsible for bin preparation, regular vehicle washing and carry out non-technical maintenance in our Underwood depot.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

Full-time, permanent role.

DUTIES:

Afternoon shift 3pm – 10pm, Monday - Friday

Maintaining cleanliness of all vehicles including trucks, forklift, and light vehicles.

Ensuring the standard of all vehicles cleaned are of a high quality.

Maintaining a cleaning schedule to ensure that all required vehicles are cleaned on a weekly basis (minimum)

General house keeping and yard duties as required.

ABOUT YOU:

HC or MC licence essential

Show interest and enthusiasm in a long-term career at JJ’s

Ability to demonstrate self-management and good communication skills

Knowledge of OH&S hazards and safety precautions

Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Be reliable; we are an essential service industry

Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing

Well-developed people and relationship skills
