The Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Storeman to join our team at our Wacol location in a temporary role eventually transitioning to permanent. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who is proactive, safety-focused, and has a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will play a key role in our warehouse operations, including the issuing and receiving of stock, forklift operations, and general stores duties.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming goods

Issue stock and materials to relevant departments or personnel

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control

Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations

Assist with stocktakes and audits as required

Requirements:

Current Forklift Licence (LF)

Previous experience in a warehouse/stores environment

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Physically fit and capable of manual handling

Good communication skills

Desirable:

Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory software

Basic computer literacy
