Your new role

Our client, an industry leader in automotive fabrication and electrical services, is seeking an Automotive Fitting & Electrical Technician to support their diverse range of vehicle modifications and bespoke solutions. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for approximately 60% auto electrical work--including installing LED lighting, battery isolators, trailer brakes and reverse cameras--and 40% body fitting tasks such as mounting accessories, fitting truck bodies to chassis, installing canopy systems, and precision painting. As part of a dedicated and collaborative team, you will directly contribute to the company's reputation for quality and innovation by ensuring that every project meets rigorous safety and performance standards. A valid driver's licence, familiarity with basic workshop tools and processes, and a commitment to meticulous, reliable work are essential for success in this dynamic role.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience in automotive electrical installations and wiring
• Proficiency in vehicle body fitting and precision modifications
• Ability to accurately measure, align and fit components for bespoke solutions
• Competence in utilising basic workshop tools including drills, hammers and screwdrivers
• Valid driver's licence with additional truck or forklift licences considered advantageous
• Keen attention to detail with a strong emphasis on quality and safety standards
• Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing work demands
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated reliability, proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
• Passion for innovation and a genuine pride in craftsmanship
