Talenza is partnering with a Federal Government client to find a skilled Technical Consultant with deep experience in the Elastic Stack. This is a rare permanent opportunity based in Canberra to work on mission-critical platforms that support national operations.

About the Role:

As a Technical Consultant, you'll play a key role in implementing, optimising, and maintaining the Elastic platform to support advanced observability and security use cases. Working on site in a collaborative government environment, you'll ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of the Elastic environment while contributing your expertise across search, analytics, and data ingestion pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy Elastic solutions that deliver real world business value
• Configure and manage Elasticsearch clusters
• Monitor system performance and optimise for scale and efficiency
• Implement and maintain Logstash pipelines
• Build and manage Kibana dashboards and alerts
• Troubleshoot issues across Elastic Stack components
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance

What We're Looking For:

• Must be an Australian Citizen with an active Baseline Security Clearance
• Recent hands on Elastic Stack experience
• Elastic Certified is desirable or equivalent depth of experience
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud environments
• Strong scripting or programming experience
• Experience working with Stakeholders
• Based in Canberra or willing to relocate to Canberra
