MC Driver -Miles Location

The Role:

Toll People are looking for experienced MC Driver for various heavy haulage single trailers to road trains roles base in Miles. Initially you will be employed on a casual basis working a rotating roster of 14 days on / 14 days off. These roles will be DIDO with accommodation provided. All Drivers are paid a competitive hourly rate of $44.09 per hour + overtime.

Experience with all heavy haulage Freight required. This role will involve a variety of different tasks including but not limited to rig deliveries, side loader and general freight. Oil & Gas experience is desirable & locals are encouraged to Apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working a rotating roster
• Load restraining with chains
• Daily Prestart checks of Prime Mover & Trailing Equipment.
• Driver Administration - POD's, Daily Run Sheets & ensuring you collect all the critical documents.
• Complying with Toll coupling & uncoupling procedures.
• Adhering to the policies, procedures & expectations as set out by Toll.
• Adhering to all Company & Customer OH&S legislative requirements.
• Ensuring your prime mover is clean and presentable on a daily

Skills & Experience:

• Current MC Licence
• Experience in oil & gas desirable
• Positive attitude and good customer service skills
• High safety initiative
• Knowledge of the fatigue legislation and all safety facets surrounding the transport industry
• Safe driving history
• Road train exp
• Working alone in remote areas.
