This is a temporary opportunity with a strong view to permanency, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and lead a payroll function through a period of transition and change.

About the Role

In this role you will take ownership of the payroll function and support a small team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll. Key responsibilities include:

Conduct end-to-end payroll operations

Lead and mentor payroll team members

Interpreting multiple EBAs and Awards

Ensuring compliance with legislative and company policies

Driving process improvement and system optimisation

Working with payroll systems such as Chris21, ADP or Dayforce

Supporting audits, reporting and month-end processes

Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing a payroll function

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Sound understanding of payroll legislation, EBAs & awards

High attention to detail, resilience, and ability to work under pressure

Available to commence immediately
