Are you passionate about the great outdoors? Do you thrive in natural environments and love sharing the wonders of nature with children? Join our team as our Bush Kindy Coordinator, where you’ll lead a unique, play-based outdoor learning program for children aged 2 years and up.

About the Role

The Creek & Nature Reserve is located just next door to our Curiosity Tree Early Education Centre, our Bush Kindy program gives children the opportunity to connect with nature, build confidence, and discover the world around them through hands-on, experiential learning.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident and experienced educator to coordinate and lead this program for 20–25 hours per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and outdoor learning, and wants to create meaningful experiences that foster curiosity, resilience and lifelong learning.

What You’ll Do

Plan and deliver engaging outdoor learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework

Supervise and support children aged 2+ in a safe, natural outdoor environment

Encourage risk-taking, exploration, and environmental awareness

Foster strong relationships with children, families and the broader team

Work collaboratively with our Centre educators to align learning goals

Champion our Bush Kindy program and promote a love of the natural world

About You

A true passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education

Diploma or above in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications

Current Working With Children Check

Knowledge of bush or nature pedagogy (or willingness to learn)

Excellent communication and leadership skills

A creative, calm and confident presence in the outdoor environment
