About the role

ProBall' is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Basketball Coach to join our team in our Eastern Suburbs and/or Inner West locations. As a casual position, this role provides the flexibility to work around your schedule while making a meaningful impact on the development of young basketball players.

What you'll be doing

Delivering high-quality basketball coaching sessions to players of all skill levels

Designing and implementing age-appropriate training programmes to improve players' technical, tactical and physical abilities

Monitoring player progress and providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential

Fostering a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and skill development

Ensuring the safety and well-being of all players during training and matches

Collaborating with the broader coaching team to share best practices and support the overall success of the programme

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience coaching basketball at a youth or community level

Strong knowledge of basketball techniques, tactics and training methods

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young players

A passion for player development and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment

Relevant coaching qualifications or a willingness to obtain them

A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one
