About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Broadmeadows Medical Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate patient care within our general medical and surgical clinic. This full-time role is based in our Broadmeadows, VIC 3047 location.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress
• Collaborating with the medical team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans
• Conducting patient assessments, documenting clinical observations, and maintaining accurate medical records
• Assisting with minor medical procedures and providing post-operative care
• Promoting patient education and empowering patients to actively participate in their own healthcare
• Maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Participating in continuous professional development to enhance nursing knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a general medical or surgical setting
• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care and a genuine passion for the nursing profession
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the clinic
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
