About the Opportunity
As a Senior Wellbeing Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting people on their mental health recovery journey while helping lead a committed team within our Youth Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC) program. This role blends hands-on support with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring staff, facilitating reflective practice, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both team members as well as for our participants. You'll also contribute to daily operations, rostering, and occasional step-up coverage for the Program Manager, making this a varied and rewarding role for someone passionate about recovery and team development.

About the Service
Wellways' PARC service is a short-term residential mental health service delivered in partnership with Monash Health, offering a supportive alternative to hospital admission or a transitional step following inpatient care. Located in community settings across South-East Melbourne, each PARC site provides 24/7 support in a recovery-focused, home-like environment where people can regain stability, build life skills, and reconnect with supports and personal interests in the community. With a strong focus on collaboration between clinical and community services, PARC empowers participants to take meaningful steps forward in their recovery.
To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Need:
- Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health, AOD or related field OR tertiary qualifications in social science or related discipline (current studies also considered)
- Prior experience working within the Mental Health industry or community-based organisation
- Right to work in Australia
- A current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to travel as needed
- Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
