Store Person / Delivery Driver

· $28-$30 an hour

· Must have a current Driver’s License

· Monday to Friday Part time hours

We are looking for an experienced and organised Store Person and Delivery Driver to join our team in Cranbourne West. You’ll be working in our stores responsible for receiving and dispatch of both large & small stock including pick-ups and deliveries.

Duties

Accepting deliveries, unpack, sort and check goods received for quality, type or size.

Maintaining up to date records of goods within the store.

Assembling goods to satisfy orders, requisitions or schedules, including re-packing where appropriate and quality checking as you go. Ability to make (or learn to make) skids and pallets to suit goods is a must.

Distributing goods to authorized persons and complete relevant documentation/records.

Inventory control

Coordinating stock movement

Receiving & dispatch of goods

Deliveries and pickups across Melbourne where applicable.

Stocktakes

Helping with general tasks in the workshop to assist workshop staff

Skills & experience you’ll need.

Experience in a similar role is of benefit but not required for the right person

Knowledge of warehousing & distribution is of benefit but not required for the right person

Current Driver's license & Own Reliable Transport to and from work

Ability to work with different sized freight (small parcels to large crates/pallets)

Ability to work in a team with focus on giving excellent customer service

Be Physically Fit for Manual Handling Tasks

Ability to work autonomously at times

Someone mechanically minded who is also able to operate small machinery (grinders, drills, saws, nail guns) is a plus

Flexibility and willing to learn is a must
