Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG) are seeking Clinical Neuropsychologists to join our Department of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology.

This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full-Time/Part-Time, Fixed-Term Full-Time/Part-Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extensions(s) and/or permanency.

We currently have multiple positions with immediate vacancies at Fremantle Hospital, Cockburn Health and Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Position Profile: We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and patient-centred Clinical Neuropsychologists with knowledge and experience in delivering neuropsychological assessments, reports and treatment recommendations to patients with complex medical, psychological, and mental health needs, to join our department. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will provide clinical supervision to Clinical Neuropsychology Registrars and Trainees, as well as have access to your own fortnightly clinical supervision.

About our Department:

We are a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated team of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists working across diverse clinical specialties within the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG). Working alongside medical, nursing and allied health professionals, we deliver comprehensive, evidence-informed psychological services to paediatric, young adult, adult, and older adult inpatients and outpatients experiencing complex medical, chronic health, cognitive, rehabilitation and mental health needs to optimize medical treatment, rehabilitation and improve psychological and mental health well-being.

As part of our commitment to excellent professional standards and continuous professional growth, we offer clinical supervision (Area of Practice Endorsement), operational supervision, mentoring, support to become a Board Approved Supervisor for eligible clinicians, and access to an internal education program. In addition, clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists have opportunities to contribute to quality improvement, service development and translational clinical research within the department as well as the broader Allied Health Directorate across FSFHG.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made to current vacancies as well as to similar vacancies within the department. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2026.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Fremantle Hospital (FH) is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

Fiona Stanley Hospital Cockburn Mental Health Facility is a 75-bed voluntary inpatient facility inpatient mental health facility in Cockburn for womens’s mental health disorders, eating disorders and alcohol and other drug detoxification and recovery support.
