About This Position…

We are seeking a bilingual Accounting & Tax Manager to join a dynamic international advisory firm that supports Japanese clients doing business in Australia. Whether you are based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide or prefer to work remotely – they’re open to flexible arrangements for the right candidate.

You will manage client engagements, provide tailored tax and business advice, and guide junior staff, all while working in a collaborative, multicultural team.

What does your next role look like?

In this role, you will:

Provide tax and business advice to Japanese clients across various industries

Review bookkeeping and financial reports prepared by junior staff

Oversee monthly and annual tax compliance (IAS, BAS, FBT, CTR, etc.)

Support clients with company set-up, structuring, and cross-border tax matters

Act as a key point of contact in managing client relationships

Conduct business development activities and support training sessions

A little about you…

CPA/CA qualified (AU, JP, or equivalent) – or working towards it

4+ years of experience in public practice or advisory firms

Proficiency with MYOB/XERO and payroll/tax filing processes

Business-level Japanese and English

Professional communication skills and a client-first mindset

Location…

Melbourne preferred, but open to candidates across Australia – remote/hybrid options available

Working Hour…

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (flexible working arrangements available).

Salary range…

Up to AUD 110,000 + Superannuation (negotiable based on experience)

Working flexibility…

Hybrid or full-remote options considered
