After recent significant growth, we are actively seeking applications for an experienced nightshift storeperson to join our team based in Regents Park.

About the role

This is a permanent, full time position, reporting directly to the Nightshift Manager, working Sunday - Thursday nights. The purpose of this role is to pick, check and pack customer orders, using safe manual handling procedures and mobile equipment in a timely and effective manner.

Your key responsibilities are:

Working in a temperature controlled environment (freezer, chiller, ambient);

Picking and checking outbound stock for deliveries using voice pick / scanning technology;

Replenishing stock levels when required;

Loading trucks for outbound deliveries;

Employing correct stock rotation principles at all times, based on ‘first in first out’ rule;

Practicing safe and correct manual handling principles at all times;

Operating mobile equipment;

Understand and adhere to HACCP regulations;

Other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.

About you:

Hold a current and valid forklift licence for at least 24 months with good high reach operational skills;

Previous freezer and cold storage experience preferred but not essential;

Experience in pick/pack work preferably with voice pick, scanning experience;

Hard-working, committed and passionate with a can-do attitude;

Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy;

Good organisational and time management skills;

Customer focused;

Live and breathe safety;

Able to work in an active and fast paced environment;
