Plumbing Avenue is seeking a qualified and experienced plumber to join our team, specialising in leak detection services / roof reports and insurance reporting.

At Plumbing Avenue, we specialise in detailed plumbing inspections, leak detection, water ingress investigations and insurance reporting across residential and commercial properties. With an excellent reputation for thorough diagnostics and high-quality reporting, we work closely with insurers, loss assessors, builders and homeowners to provide trusted, evidence-based solutions.

Role Overview:

As a Plumber at Plumbing Avenue, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide top-tier service in the insurance industry. You’ll be responsible for conducting onsite inspections, identifying and diagnosing plumbing-related issues (such as leaks, water ingress, stormwater failures, rising damp and roof issues) You’ll also liaise with clients and insurance stakeholders and carry out minor make-safe works when required. On occasion, you will be required to complete general and maintenance plumbing and repairs.

The role involves:

Carry out advanced plumbing investigations and leak detection using moisture meters, thermal imaging, CCTV drain cameras, pressure tests, flood testing and water spray testing

Document findings and produce high-quality reports

Conduct comprehensive roof inspections and provide detailed roof condition reports

Perform CCTV drain camera inspections to identify blockages and structural issues

Undertake general plumbing maintenance and repairs with a focus on quality workmanship

No after-hours call-outs — enjoy work-life balance.

Overtime available if required — paid accordingly.

Supplied with a vehicle, fuel card and phone.

Eventually a laptop to be able to work from home and do reports.

We are also seeking additional roles within the business that don't require reporting.
