About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Empty Container Handler to join our team at Intermodal Group, based in Forrestfield.

As an Empty Container Handler, you will be responsible for container movements in a high-volume, high-turnover rail terminal, servicing up to 4 trains daily, alongside numerous truck container operations. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy forklifts, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of containers.

Our terminal operates 5am to 12am with rostered weekends, requiring dedication to a structured schedule and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will need the ability to:

· Operate heavy forklifts efficiently and safely.

· Work unsupervised while completing tasks in a timely manner.

· Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a high-turnover rail terminal.

· Maintain accurate records of container movements using iPads and our operating system.

· Adapt to a fast-paced environment, ensuring precision and safety at all times.

· Follow safety regulations and contribute to a safe working culture.

What You Will Bring

· A valid LF Forklift Ticket ticket.

· Basic computer skills for logging container movements.

· Ability to work within a structured roster, including weekends.

· A willingness to learn and adapt to evolving terminal operations.

· Reliable transport for commuting to the Kenwick terminal.
