Southern Diamond Tools is an expanding family business and are a leading supplier to the concrete cutting, grinding and construction industry. We specialise in supplying contractors, hire companies and resellers. With branches located in Melbourne , Adelaide and Brisbane together with our dealer network, operations is focused on a national growth strategy.

The Role

Due to an internal promotion we are now looking to add to our team. This role is stimulating and diverse, and you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers at our Moorabbin head office. The role will suit an all rounder, who thrives on variety in their day, and enjoys going above and beyond.

The main duties include:

Accurate stock management and inventory control, including periodic cycle counts

Efficiently picking customer orders

Safe and efficient loading and unloading trucks

Unloading containers

Maintaining a highly organised storage layout

Undertaking customer deliveries to site as required

Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse and showroom

Providing stores and general duties support to Business Owner and General Manager

Liaison with interstate branches and assisting with fulfilment of orders and transfers

Providing support to Service Workshop

Undertaking Pre-Delivery checks for Machinery

Key Requirements

Previous experience in a customer centric warehouse environment is a requirement

Forklift Licence and experience operating is mandatory

Current Drivers Licence

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Basic computer skills

Must have permanent right to work in Australia
