We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join our Geelong based team. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will:

Transport a range of plant and equipment as directed to ensure the safe, efficient and effective provision of transport services to internal and external customers, following all appropriate internal safety policies, procedures and workplace health and safety legislation.

Maintain the truck and trailer upholding clean appearance and periodic minor maintenance.

Retain appropriate driving records in line with legal requirements. Safety is a high priority in our business.

Assist with general workshop tasks such as assisting mechanics, basic equipment maintenance and checks, cleaning detailing and Parts work.

You will have:

Heavy Combination (HC) Licence required. Experience of at least 5 years HC driving and operating a Quad-Axle Low Loader. Experienced in loading/unloading all types of heavy earthmoving equipment.

Practical experience of workplace health and safety legislation.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal with a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness and ability to work as part of a small team.

An organised, methodical approach with the ability to follow well established safety procedures is essential.

Attention to detail.

Must be willing and able to undertake early/late finishes and occasional overnight and weekend stays away from home as required.

Ability to utilise bespoke company IT system on an android tablet. Training can be provided.
