We’re a leading Adelaide joinery company working on high-end commercial, architectural and multi-residential projects. We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Furniture Removalist with a valid MR truck license to join our team. This role involves safely loading, transporting, and unloading furniture for commercial fit outs. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, a team player, and confident operating trucks and handling furniture with care.

Transport & Logistics

Operate MR trucks to transport furniture and goods between locations.

Safely load and unload furniture using proper manual handling techniques.

Navigate efficiently using maps or GPS to ensure timely delivery.

Furniture Handling

Dismantle and reassemble furniture when required.

Wrap and protect items to prevent damage in transit.

Use moving equipment (trolleys, straps, blankets) safely and effectively.

Customer Service

Provide professional, friendly service to clients during pickups and deliveries.

Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.

Follow client instructions for placement or special handling of furniture.

Teamwork & Safety

Work closely with fellow crew members to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Comply with all WHS (Work Health and Safety) practices.

Inspect truck and equipment daily and report any faults or maintenance needs.

Requirements:

Essential

Valid MR truck license with clean driving history.

Experience in furniture removals or manual handling roles.

Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items safely.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable and punctual.

Desirable

White Card (Construction Induction Card).

Forklift license.
