An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Indirect Tax professional to step into a broad, business-facing role within a global organisation recognised for innovation and operational excellence.
This position will see you take ownership of indirect tax compliance and advisory matters for Australia and New Zealand, while supporting a range of commercial projects and business initiatives. It offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, contributing both technically and strategically to key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the indirect tax compliance calendar, including preparation and review of GST, FBT, BAS and payroll tax returns
• Provide practical, commercially focused tax advice on products, transactions, acquisitions and restructures
• Lead process improvement initiatives and governance reviews relating to indirect taxes
• Support internal controls, superannuation, reportable benefits and tax integration projects
• Partner with finance, legal, HR and commercial teams on cross-functional projects
• Deliver data analysis, process mapping and risk reviews to drive operational improvements

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of tax experience within a large corporate, chartered or professional services environment, with at least 5 years in indirect tax
• Strong technical knowledge of GST and related tax legislation
• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, projects and business stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and confident financial systems skills
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and commercially minded approach
