About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Sonographer to join our team and support our valued client by covering a maternity leave contract starting August/September in Bundaberg Qld.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of ultrasound examinations across different clinical areas, including:

General ultrasound

Obstetrics and gynaecology

Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging

Your contribution will play a vital part in ensuring continuity of care and timely diagnostics for patients in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports.

Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams where necessary.

Work autonomously or as part of a healthcare team in various settings.

Requirements

Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)

Strong clinical knowledge in general, obstetric/gynaecological, and MSK ultrasound

Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated and proactive with a commitment to quality service

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to adapt to different work environments and schedules
