We are looking for a Truck Driver to join this long-standing business, specialising in the supply and manufacture of building materials for the commercial construction industry!

The Opportunity

In this fantastic position you will be driving around Melbourne and metropolitan areas and unloading materials on sites using the company truck. You will be an experienced truck driver with a valid MR / LR licence.

You will maintain a clean truck and conduct vehicle inspections and if there are no deliveries to be made you will assist with warehouse duties.

You will be driving one of 3 company trucks - 2 are 5 tonne and 1 is 3 tonne. All 3 trucks have 6.5m plus long trays.

Requirements:

MR or LR truck licence

Police and licence checks (or a willingness to obtain these)

Full drivers’ licence with manual driving experience

Forklift licence (preferred)

Reliability with a positive team attitude

Physically fit

Good communication skills and knowledge of Melbourne

Experience driving in the Melbourne CBD and delivering to building sites (preferred)

FULL WORKING RIGHTS WITHIN AUSTRALIA ARE REQUIRED

This role offers an immediate start (taking into consideration any notice period you may be required to work).

This is a full-time role working Monday – Friday: start time of between 5.30am to 7.00am (however generally commencing at 6.00am) and working for 8 working hours.
