The Role

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a close knit team of mobile plant maintenance trades people and be responsible for the following duties;-

• Workshop (air conditioned) - servicing, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, major component change outs, general repairs, fault finding & diagnostics
• Field (when competent) - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics
• Machinery - UG mining trucks, boggers, drills, IT's, charge up equipment, spraymechs

The Roster

• 7 days on 7 days off
• Dayshift only
• Wednesday to Tuesday roster pattern
• 12-hour shifts
• Opportunity to leave early on your last shift to travel home

Your Value

You will come from a trade qualification in Auto Electrical, backed with the following skills and attributes;-

• All round abilities in the workshop working on diesel machinery
• Heavy vehicles, ag/ forestry or earthmoving machinery experience (essential)
• Cert II in air conditioning (advantageous, not essential)
• A keen eagerness to learn and forward your skills in the mining sector
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• An excellent attitude towards work
• Safety first mentality
• UG hard rock mining experience is highly regarded (not essential)
