Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to work predominately with our principal dentists.

As part of the trusted Allied Dental group with six locations across Perth, our Cockburn practice is expanding to a 5-chair facility. We pride ourselves on creating positive experiences for both patients and team members through our core values of integrity, honesty, and respect.

What we are looking for in a Dental Assistant:

Provide expert chairside assistance during treatments, experience in assisting with implant procedures would be highly regarded.

Stay ahead of the dentist by anticipating their needs during procedures and ensuring everything is ready for the next step in treatment.

Support digital dentistry workflows including scanning and 3D printing.

Ensure impeccable sterilisation and infection control.

Deliver outstanding patient care, ensuring comfort, addressing patient needs, and creating a positive experience.

Assist with documentation and patient care coordination.

Provide support to colleagues when needed, fostering a cooperative and efficient team environment.

Certificate III and/or IV in Dental Assisting.

A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Strong chairside manner and clinical expertise.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

A compassionate and friendly personality that helps patients feel comfortable.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience.

More development opportunities over time.

Previous experience in a dental reception role would also be an advantage.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to help patients understand treatment costs, insurance, and payment options.

A calm, professional demeanour when handling inquiries and nervous patients

An organised, reliable, and polished presence that represents our clinic professionally.

A team player who is highly motivated and takes initiative.
