About the role

We are seeking Catering Assistants to join the kitchen team in our client's aged care facility located in Goulburn, NSW.

Shift Schedule

• Available across 7 days with variable morning and afternoon shifts.
• Weekend and Public Holidays Loadings apply.

*The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check certificate, or be willing to apply for one*

Skills and experience

• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines
• Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.
• The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.
• Must have reliable transport.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Providing meal service to elderly residents
• Cleaning of serveries and dining room set up
• Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents
• Washing dishes in the main kitchen and plating of meals
• Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen
• Function set up and clear down
• Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day to day tasks
• Food and beverage service
