OR, are you ready to start a new career as a Licensed Pest Control Technician? Bug Busters is offering exciting opportunities for Provisional, Trainee and Qualified positions.

As a Pest Control Technician, you work independently, starting your day from home and driving to your first job in your company vehicle to various locations. You provide pest services to clients in residential homes and commercial properties, adhering to Regulatory Standards and company policies. Full training and support will be provided.

Our Training Program:

Comprehensive Training: Combines practical on-the-job training with classroom tuition.

TAFE Course: Get paid to obtain a Cert III in Pest Management, a nationally recognised qualification, during normal work hours.

Supervised Training: Start with full supervision, progressing to a Provisional License and eventually a Full license issued by the Western Australian Health Department.

Ongoing Support: Approximately 12 months of training to qualify for a full Cert III - Pest Management Technicians License.

Position Benefits:

TAFE classroom training is paid for by Bug Busters.

Fully maintained modern vehicle and fuel card provided.

Daily work is scheduled by the office.

Qualified starting wage from $36.00/hour neg with opportunities for overtime income.

Trainee starting wage from $30.36/hour neg with opportunities for overtime income.

Pay is reviewed regularly in line with your training progression

Monthly commission of up to 30% paid on upsold work.

Support from schedulers and supervisors.

Applicants from all Perth suburbs are welcome. Attendance at our Osborne Park office is not required daily.

Quarterly team-building events and catered training events.

Requirements:

Physically fit, with the ability to access subfloors and roof spaces for inspection and treatments.

Current Western Australian driver's license (Full or P plate).

Some background in labour-based work.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Punctual, reliable, and able to work unsupervised.

Health and safety conscious.

Flexible, adaptable, and with a can-do attitude.

Basic IT skills.

Consent to pre-employment D&A, police clearance, and work references if shortlisted.

Commitment to completing the Cert III.
