Late Night Duty Manager – $90K + Bonus | 4-Day Week | Banksia Hotel

Banksia Hotel is a busy, independently owned pub in Sydney’s inner south, known for its strong gaming offering, late-night trade, and loyal local crowd.

The Role

As our Late Night Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for running the hotel during peak late-night trade. This includes:

Overseeing all front-of-house operations during your shift

Leading and motivating staff to deliver excellent service

Managing gaming operations, TAB, Keno and late-night F&B service

Cash handling, closing procedures, and nightly reporting

Handling escalated customer service issues with confidence

Compiling detailed handovers and keeping communication tight across shifts

Ensuring compliance with liquor and gaming regulations

What You’ll Need

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar pub or hotel management role

Solid background in gaming operations and compliance

Proven leadership skills in a hands-on hospitality environment

Ability to stay calm under pressure and run a tight late-night ship

Passion for high standards and customer-focused service

Mandatory Requirements

Current NSW RSA, RCG, and Advanced RCG (ARCG)

TAB/Keno Accreditation

Full Working Rights in Australia – minimum Permanent Residency

Availability to work late nights on a set weekly roster

Desirable Extras

Hospitality Diploma or equivalent

Familiarity with BOH systems, daily reporting, and reconciliation

Understanding of local market and customer expectations
