The Opportunity:

We are seeking a residential enthusiastic Electrical Superintendent on a full- time basis for our growing Karratha division based in our newly acquired office & workshop.

Our Karratha division is a diverse operation servicing a range of mining and local clients in across the Pilbara region. We have a strong local presence conducting maintenance and projects for our varied list of clients.

Reporting to the Division Manager, you will be responsible for scoping, planning, scheduling, conducting & coordinating the technical and management aspects of our Karratha electrical department. A dynamic role, leading supervisors and their teams to deliver successful completion of our client’s requirements and projects safely and within our profitability targets.

This is a great opportunity to make a department your own with the support of management locally and backed up by our Perth office.

What you will bring to the role:

Proven experience with project management & project delivery across multi-discipline electrical projects.

A natural leader with ability to manage & support staff - an open communicator across all channels.

Liaise with planners, engineers, and other trades for smooth execution along with assisting estimators with scoping and tendering process.

Sound financial and business acumen with a drive to develop new business opportunities.

You will hold an electrical nominee’s ticket with a WA Electrical Licence (desirable, training provided if not)

Ability to supervise and coordinate electrical work when required

Be involved in creating risk assessments, CRAWS and project safety implementation

Ensure compliance with electrical standards, site procedures, and permit systems

Advanced knowledge of Electrical Management process and procedures

High level computer skills

Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with clients and have a key input in driving the electrical business and team forward

Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Qualifications/ Licence and Clearances:

Minimum 2–3 years in mining in a Senior Electrical leadership role

Section 26 to the current onsite regulations and WHS acts (Desirable)

WA A grade electrical trade licence

Electrical Contractor License (Highly Desirable)
